Yay! Today is the big Hallmark Holiday, which I used to hate until I had kids! Kids make everything so much fun! This morning I made my family a fun heart inspired breakfast and even made pink whipped cream for our lattes and hot coco! I made a scavenger hunt for the girls to find their Valentines and oh did they have fun! Tonight I am making a fun dinner of lobster pasta- a family favorite and big treat! Who needs going out when we can have so much more fun here!
Like promised I am excited announce the winner from The Lovely Blog Hop, the random lucky winner to win the quartet of fabulous washi tape is Angi from Cokie Pop Paper Boutique! Congratulations and Happy Valentine’s Day! I will be contacting you for your info!
I made some fun Valentine mailboxes to pass out in our inner circle of family and friends. This idea has been seen around the blog world, but my two inspirations of these were from my two very good blog buddies Holly from Ribbons and Glue and Missy from Quick Chick Designs! They were simple to pull together only using my Chop-A-Dile, paper cutter, a few stamps and washi tape.
The stamp image and sentiment is from My Pink Stamper Special Delivery stamp set, paper and metal mailboxes were collected from the dollar bin at Target. The washi tape came from Queen & Co and Paper Issues. I cut the strips that wrapped around the mailbox 2.5 x12 inches. The design paper on the end caps were cut at 2.5 x 2.5 inchs. The white card stock on front was cut at 2.5 x1 inch and the back piece was cut at 2 x 1 inch. I added some heart embellishments I had left over from my kids Valentine stash.
Thanks for sharing a piece of “loving every minute of Valentine’s Day” pie with me!
