Getting a Little Educational with My Cricut and My Pink Stamper

As I have mentioned before, I am the  “craft mom” at my daughters’ co-op pre school.  The theme the other week was nutrition.  I decided to do a match the shape/food to the one on the paper and then glue it down.  Since the craft is geared towards 3 and 4 year-olds, I wanted to make it as simple and easy to do.

I first set up a 8.5×11 piece of white cardstock on my Cricut mat and cut out the shapes I wanted to use.  this was my master sheet that I would later place a darker sheet of paper behind and copy with the copy machine to create the sheet that the kiddos will glue the food cut outs to.

After that I went into mass production mode and cut all my die cuts out and then organized them all into ziplock baggies for easy distribution.

Super quick and easy crafty/educational idea.

About apieceoflifespie

I am a stay at home domestic engineer that has a love for my family, food, writing, crafting, photography and most of all a clean and orderly house. I feel I was born in the wrong era in many things and the only thing I would change if I was a "Donna Reed or June Cleaver" kind of mom is that I would still get to wear my sweats and Crocs while washing the windows.

  1. Arin, you are just too special! I LOVE this idea and it’s exactly the type of idea I have been looking for!!! I need projects like this to do with my kidlets at home! I can’t believe it is under my nose the whole time and I just flutter past it without even knowing. You are such an inspiration!!! Thanks, Arin and take care! 🙂
