My First Monday Fantabulous Cricut Challenge – Fun with Puns

I found this blog, Fantabulous Cricut this past weekend and was actually challenged by this week’s challenge of making a card using a pun. I usually don’t gravitate towards using puns in my card making, so this posed a bit of a fun challenge.  I had  certain peeps in mind for this card and began to build a concept.  I printed out the pun on card stock in a font that would most suit as a stamp at 14 pt Bradley font and for the word “hare” at 16 pt Bradley font.

This card is for two people who have been through the ringer with loss, illness and very surprising news these past few months.  I hope this brings a smile to their faces when they open this card!

Thanks for coming and sharing a piece of “puny” pie with me.

About apieceoflifespie

I am a stay at home domestic engineer that has a love for my family, food, writing, crafting, photography and most of all a clean and orderly house. I feel I was born in the wrong era in many things and the only thing I would change if I was a "Donna Reed or June Cleaver" kind of mom is that I would still get to wear my sweats and Crocs while washing the windows.

  1. OMG! that is so cute Arin! I’m sure they’ll love receiving it! It’s true that great minds think alike as I’m just now working on my entry for that challenge. I’m bummed you still can’t see my pics on my blog – it seems about 1 in every 6 or 8 people can’t see them either. I’m almost positive it has something to do with people’s anti-virus security programs. I’ve been doing some research & I’ve found that alot of the anti-virus programs have recently updated their programs & one of the main problems people are having is that it blocks pictures from Blogger/blogspot specifically. There is a way to go into your program & tell it to make an “exception” (that’s what most of them call it) to a specific blog or to the whole blogspot domain. If that still doesn’t work then I’ll just email my photos to you instead… Love the card & talk to you soon!

    XOXO

P.S…. sorry for hijacking your blog for a minute, but maybe there are some of your readers who are having the same problem & can try out my suggestion…. 🙂

    • well we have narrowed it down, it is not our anit virus. The hubs disabled it to test it out and we can’t see it via our Android. I wonder if it has something to it being a photo from an Iphone? Apple locks a lot of stuff down and does not translate into MS stuff well? I WANT TO SEE YOUR PROJECTS! I miss them!
