Yesterday while I was catching up on some emails, I received an email from Cricut magazine’s publisher (http://northridgepublishing.com/landing/cricutmag/cricutmagazine.html) accepting my submission for February 2012 issue! I am over the moon with excitement. The hubs went as far to tell me that he had trouble sleeping since the beaming light that came from my permanent smile was a bit annoying to try to sleep through!
Shhhh… I can’t tell you what I submitted, but come February the cat will be out of the bag!
As part of my acceptance speech, I would like to thank the hubs for all his support and “funding” to my down time activity from chasing around a 2 and 3-year-old. And I would like to thank My Pink Stamper (http://www.mypinkstamper.com/), for just being “out there” via the internet! All I was doing one night was trying to figure out how to use my Cricut Expressions and then stumbled upon her videos and then her website and then all her designers. The creative energy she brings to the table is contagious and I feel that she has this gift of holding the keys of being able to open the gates to encouraging personal creativity.
